I have a passion for science, animals, and being outside, especially kayaking, gardening, and hiking. I have taken classes through Warnell school of forestry to become a Master Naturalist and classes through Adopt-a-Stream for both chemical and bacteria monitoring. I hope to instill all I have learned to our students here at Lamar-Milledge Elementary.  I have been married to my precious husband 34 years. I have two girls, one an illustrator from SCAD, the younger one a UGA Law graduate, working in federal law, and a son-law who is a senior software designer. I have a goldendoodle, an English bulldog, two kitties and a bunny. We attend Warren Baptist Church. 

I am teaching STEM, which is an acronym for science, technology, engineering, and math. My major goal is to work with both the students  and the teachers on inquiry, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and hands-on labs. I am super excited to be able to actively engage the students at every opportunity.
