OMEGA PSI PHI FRATERNITY, INC. Upsilon Gamma Gamma Chapter
The Upsilon Gamma Gamma Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity is pleased to
invite you to be a part of the Brigadier General Charles Young High School Scholarship
Essay Program. Upsilon Gamma Gamma is a military chapter located on Fort Eisenhower, Georgia and thus honors one of America’s outstanding military officers annually by awarding scholarships in the name of Brigadier General Charles Young.
Brigadier General Young was the third African American male to graduate from the
U.S. Military Academy at West Point. His legacy is resiliency through determination, and success in the face of bigotry and racism. He rose through the trials of his time to become a successful officer, father, and husband. In honor of his steadfast determination and willingness to uplift others. The Upsilon Gamma Gamma Chapter prides itself on assisting college bound financially challenged seniors through the
annual Brigadier General Charles Young Scholarship program. The Upsilon Gamma Gamma Chapter is committed to awarding scholarships to outstanding students like you who have demonstrated interest in attending college after high school. This application is designed to collect academic and personal information for the review committee. Your responses to the questions and essay submittal will be
a decisive factor in the selection process. The application deadline for the receipt of
all materials is April 14, 2024.Application available in the Counselor Office

National Association of University Women Augusta Branch
The Augusta Branch of NAUW will award one scholarship to an African American young lady in the graduating senior class of 2024 in the amount of $500.00 to assist in her pursuit of a college education. The young lady selected to receive the scholarship will be notified by letter. The young lady will be required to provide an official verification of enrollment in order to receive the scholarship. Upon receipt of the documentation, a check (Payable to the College) will be mailed directly to the school where she is enrolled.

AUGUSTA LINKS SCHOLARSHIP
The Augusta, Ga Chapter of The Links, Incorporated’s Scholarship program is a general academic award aimed to provide assistance to a deserving student. Awardees may be pursuing any academic major they desire. The Scholarship Committee is looking for wellrounded students who demonstrate academic achievement, financial need, leadership skills, and involvement in a variety of school and community service activities.

Barack Temp #256 Scholarship Application
Any qualified graduating student who has a cumulative grade point average equal to a greater than 3.5. The applicant must be a graduating from high school senior and intending to be a full-time enrolled student. All applications must be received, even if being hand carried, mailed or postmarked, prior to close of business on 4/30/2024. Late submissions will not be accepted nor considered.
