I am from Moses Lake, Washington but have lived in Evans, Georgia for 8 years. When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter. I do not have any pets although I would love to have a hedgehog. I also am an avid Scouts BSA member and go camping as often as possible. I chose to become a teacher because I love being able to help children understand the world around them. My favorite quote comes from Dr. Seuss "Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is youer than you." I want my students to leave my classroom knowing they are important and loved. 

 

I believe so much of learning comes from hands on experience. In my classroom it is ok to make mistakes. My goal is for every student to feel comfortable enough to be wrong and strong enough to push through and get it right. I love to sing and dance when teaching.
