Belair Falcon Parents & Community,
It is with great pleasure and zeal that I introduce myself, Ms. Shetina Roulhac, Principal of this great school and community. I am a proud graduate of the Richmond County School System, where I have served as an educator for 17 years. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology (double major) from Georgia State University, my Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Augusta State University, and my Education Specialist degree in Leadership from Augusta University.
Here at Belair Elementary, we believe every child can learn and deserves a quality and equitable education. I have no doubt that our students will thrive, achieve, and excel as we obtain the support of parents and the entire community. As a school, we are committed to providing an innovative, rigorous, and exciting learning environment where students thrive and achieve academically, socially, emotionally, and physically. We want to ensure that our students have a hunger for learning, relish in challenging learning experiences that prompt curiosity and provoke thought, and produce students that are prepared for life beyond the classroom. It is my hope that all stakeholders are ready to embrace the great work ahead of us because I believe excellence in education is the collaborative effort and shared responsibility of the individual, home, school, and community.
I am eager to serve and witness the rise in achievement as we all work together to make Belair Elementary School a place where students “Fly High, Soar Together!”
Sincerely,
Shetina Roulhac, Ed.S.
Dear students, parents, faculty, staff members, and community stakeholders, my name is Dr. Lutricia L. Parkman and it is truly an honor to serve as the newly appointed assistant principal of Belair Elementary School. I am excited to be able to fly high and soar together with each of you this upcoming school year.
I am a product of the Richmond County System. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southern University, my Master of School Counseling degree from Augusta State University, my Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Cambridge College, and my Doctorate in Educational Administration from South Carolina State University. This is my 24th year as an educator, and I’m glad to be spending it as a Falcon!
I truly believe school is an experience that should be filled with memorable events for both students and their families. Through these experiences, it is my hope that children develop a love of learning that will last a lifetime. Together, we will help the students at Belair Elementary School achieve academic success necessary to prepare for them life beyond the classroom and be productive citizens in the community. I look forward to working with each of you to make this an amazing year for our Falcons!
Sincerely,
Dr. Lutricia L. Parkman
