Welcome to my class. My name is Mr. D'Andre Chavous where I was born and raised in Augusta, Ga. I attended and graduated from Lucy C. Laney High School where I was a member of the Pride Of Augusta Marching Band. I am a proud member of the Class of 2014. After high school, I attended Miles College where I was a part of the Purple Marching Machine for all of my Freshmen year. After my Freshmen year of college I decided to move closer to home and attended Savannah State University to be apart of the Powerhouse of the South. I ultimately received my Bachelor of Music from Savannah State University. The students that I teach this year are from 5th - 8th grade. This is my fifth year teaching and I am very excited to teach your child music where I'm sure they will learn a lot. One of my life long goals is to be committed to the community and love giving back to my through music.
