Transformation Happens Here!

 Mr. Jabal M. Moss

Hello Bulldog Nation!

Welcome to the wonderful world of 6th grade Math and Social Studies! It is an exciting time to be a student in the Richmond County School System, but more importantly, at Richmond Hill K-8, where we are one team with a shared dream!

My name is Jabal M. Moss. I am the 6th grade Math and Social Studies teacher for face-to-face learners for 2020-2021. I am excited to be a member of the village that will allow your child to receive a high-quality education, be engaged in learning, and transformed to optimal success. 6th grade is an important year for your student and because of that, transformation is the theme for this school year. I am hoping that each student transforms into the person that the student desires to be. I plan to do all that I can to make sure that transformation takes place in a clean, conducive, healthy, and inspiring learning environment. It is my goal to not only teach the students but also give the students the tools necessary to be all that they can be.

To give a little more background on me. I am a native of Augusta, Georgia. I was educated in the Richmond County School System, graduating from Cross Creek High School in 2009. After graduating from Cross Creek High School, I matriculated to Paine College, Georgia Southern University, and Webster University. I have spent the last seven (7) years teaching and promoting student success on the collegiate level. I have worked for Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona Beach, Florida, Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tennessee, and Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio.

I look forward to a collaborative and healthy working relationship between parent/guardian/teacher/student this school year!

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me via e-mail at mossja1@boe.richmond.k12.ga.us. I will do my best to respond within 24-48 hours.

Welcome to a year of fun! Happy learning!

Yours in partnership,

Jabal M. Moss
