Greetings all!

First and foremost, congratulations on making it to another year of expanding your education. Welcome to Laney High School, where we are one team and WINNING! I am pleased to formally introduce myself as a Language Arts and Social Studies teacher. I am Ms. Hicks, a graduate of Savannah State University and Augusta University.

I am looking forward to meeting each one of you. While in my classroom, expect to be pushed past your comfort zone. There is growth in being uncomfortable. There may be challenging times, but I will be alongside you during this journey. So do not worry! As your teacher, I promise to make sure you reach your full potential as a student!
