This year 2016-2017 Laney is proud to introduce its new Robotics team. The group is formed together of energetic an inteligent individuals that are "fired up" and excited about the up coming events planned for the team. The team will meet twice a week to brainstorm, create, and utimately build a robot. The robot will be programmed to complete a particular task that must be done carefully, and swiftly. At the same time there will be many other schools with there robots that will be competing against them. The students will design, and execute this task with confidence and precision, in order to bring home the trophy. Thank you, and we look forward to your support with this robotics club.

Every Friday is Wildcat Live Automotive. On this day we schedule teachers, students, and selected neighborhood individuals. We sort them by the issues they are having, and the curriculum being covered at that time. This gives our students the opportunity to have the hands on experience needed to master each standard being covered.
