Welcome to Ms. Freeman's Page!I am very excited to have you in my class this year! This is my 6th year in education. I have taught high school for the past 6 years and this is my first year at the middle school level! I am so excited about my new journey and you are an important part!Please use this website as a resource to prepare for your virtual learning journey this school year. The platform that we will complete our virtual learning on is called Canvas. By clicking the links on the bottom of this page, you will be able to view a how-to video on accessing Canvas as well at the Canvas Orientation Course. There is also a virtual open house video that you will need to view that is full of information to prepare you for your amazing year! The links on the left side of my website will help you navigate through some of the resources that may better you for your journey. 2nd 9 Weeks Grade Recovery Information
Grade Recovery for the 2nd 9 weeks is now available. This is available to students who were not successful at passing for the 2nd 9 weeks period.
In order to access grade recovery, please do the following:
- Go to LaunchPad
- Click "Blended Learning - Edgenuity"
- Go to "Courses"
- Click "8th Grade American Government Unit 2 Recovery - Freeman"
You must complete the grade recovery at 100% and achieve a grade of 70 or above in order to replace your 2nd 9 weeks grade. This must be completed before March 14th at 11:59 PM. It is best practice to work on this over the break while you do not have any other coursework. When school begins in January, students are expected to maintain regular classwork while working on their grade recovery at the same time.
