Hello, my name is Mr. Lamb, and I am the General Music Teacher/Band Director at W.S. Hornsby Elementary School. I am a graduate of “THE Unsinkable” Albany State University with a Bachelor of Music Education Degree in Music Education, with a concentration in Instrumental Music Education, and a graduate of Augusta University with a Master of Education in Instruction, with a concentration in Music Education, and currently going for a Specialist in Education degree in Advanced Educational Studies in Music Education at Augusta University.

Going into 12 years of experience in Music Education, including my seventh year here in Richmond County, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my role. My teacher experience spans Elementary Music, Middle School Band and Orchestra, and High School Band. I also serve as a Band Staff member for the Albany State University Band Program, managing the video footage of the band's performances. As a member of GMEA and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, Fraternity of America, Inc., I am committed to advancing music for your child's education.

I love football (WHO DAT), music, and bowling. I am excited to continue to be your child’s General Music teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.
