We are Proud to be a Title I School
The purpose of Title I is to ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education. Title I provides technical assistance, resources, and program monitoring of the Richmond County School System's Title I schools to ensure that all children have an opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and to achieve proficiency on high academic standards.
At Richmond County School System, parent involvement continues to be one of our goals for improving student achievement. Parent facilitators and designees from each Title I school attend monthly training sessions facilitated by Title I Program Specialists at RCBOE. Training sessions are designed to build staff capacity in order for schools to conduct engaging, informative workshops for parents that help them to build their capacity as they continue to influence their child's academic progress.School Improvement Initiatives
