I am a 4th grade teacher here at Richmond Hill K-8.  I am entering my fourth year of teaching.   I was born and raised in Augusta.  I attended Paine College where I earned my Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education.  Currently, I am attending Liberty University working to earn my Masters of Education Degree with a Math Specialist Endorsement.

I am the mother of 2 children, Brandon and Briana Edwards.  They both work in the education field as well.  Brandon works with the Paine College Upward Bound Program.  Briana is a teacher here in the Richmond County School System.  Briana and I shared a momentous occasion.   We graduated from Paine College together in 2017!  Also, I am a proud Grandmother to my 9-month-old granddaughter, I'yana, and my 5-year-old Yorkie, Prince.  I am so proud of my family.  They bring me so much joy and love.

I have a true passion for teaching and a genuine love for people.  It is my desire to ensure every student is provided a safe and pleasant environment that will help them to be successful with their learning.  I am so grateful that I have the opportunity to be a part of your child's learning experience.
