Dear Parents/ Guardian,

Welcome to the First Grade  “Where Dreams Are Chased and Stars Are Born”. It is an honor to be a part of your child’s foundation as they begin their journey into a life of learning and growing. Our days and weeks will be filled with many wonderful experiences and opportunities to learn, grow, and explore. We are excited that you have become a part of the Deer Chase Family.

I would like to introduce myself, my name is Ellenoder Denise Wilson. I am pleased to be your child’s teacher this year at Deer Chase Elementary. This is my 6 year at Deer Chase, and my second year in First Grade. I believe that a good parent, teacher, and student relationship is necessary for a successful school year. Throughout the year I will communicate with you through notes, newsletters, phone calls, emails, the Dojo app, and parent teacher conferences. Educating your child must be a collaborative effort between you and your child’s teachers. No one group will be as effective without the help of each other.
