Welcome to the 2023 - 2024 school year!

           My name is Mr. Rhodes, and this is my first year teaching music at Jamestown.  I am from Augusta.  I started playing violin in 4th Grade with the Richmond County Orchestra Program and graduated from Westside High School. I attended the University of Georgia, where I received a Bachelors and Masters degree in Music.  This is my 20th year teaching in Richmond County.

           In Music Class we learn the fundamentals of music: melody, harmony, rhythm, form, and style.  We use singing and classroom instruments to explore this world of sound and silence that turns noise into music.
