About Mrs. Carter

My name is Summer Carter, sixth grade ELA teacher, and I am glad to welcome you and your child to my classroom this year. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Education and later obtained a Master's Degree in Business Administration. Upon graduating from college, my initial plans changed, and I joined the U.S. Army. After a short stint in the U.S. Army, I began working in the public sector.

Teaching has always been my desire; therefore, I am humbled by this opportunity to teach children.  I am expecting this year to be a great year full of lots of learning and success.
