Dear Parents & Students,

           Greetings! My name is Mrs. Dukes and I serve as the Instructional Specialist for Meadowbrook Elementary! I would like to welcome you all to my website. I am looking forward to working with each of you and I am excited about the wonderful school year ahead of us.  I have previously taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade as well as 2nd- 3rd grade augmented, and gifted.  I have an undergraduate degree from Paine College in Early Childhood Educations and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Georgia Regents University.  As an Instructional Specialist, some of my current duties include but are not limited to:

• Providing targeted instructional support for teachers within our school
• Analyzing instructional practices and data to address specific areas for growth
• Designing and delivering professional development on instructional best practices, standards based instruction, assssment and other targeted topics
• Redeliver district level training and information as appropriate for our school
• Work with teachers to develop plans to ensure student improvement
