McBean is excited to offer a new book club as part of our comprehensive literature program. It is designed for 3^rd and 4^thgrade students. This club targets students who will benefit from academic enrichment. The purposed of the club is to expose students to exceptional literature to cultivate in the students the habits of analyzing writing as they read it, and to promote the skills necessary for productive group discussions.  Students will be invited to participate in the club based on teacher recommendation and will meet once a week. Ms. Mitchell the school counselor along with Mrs. Robinson will act as advisors for the 4^th grade club. Ms. Mitchell will advise the 3^rd grade club.
