Welcome, Welcome, Welcome!

My name is Mrs. Callaway and I am so excited to be teaching 7th Grade Social Studies for the 2025-2026 school year here at W. S. Hornsby Middle School. While I am new to the Jaguar family, I am not new to teaching. This is my 5th year teaching middle school social studies. 

First, I love God! All that I have and am is because of Him. Second, I love my family. I am a proud wife and mommy of 2 amazing kids. :)

I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Augusta University. I obtained my Master’s degree in Sociology and Education, from Grand Canyon University. I am currently in the GaTapp program to complete my certification. 

I love to laugh and have fun. So, I apply that in my classroom. I know that social studies can be perceived as boring, so it has been my goal to make social studies as enjoyable as possible for your student. 

I already know we are going to have an amazing year and I am so looking forward to it!
