Ms. Rouse is a native to Augusta, Ga. Early childhood, she attended Jenkins White Elem, Glenn Hills Elem, & Barton Chapel Elementary. She attended middle school at Glenn Hills. She attended ARC and graduated in 2015. It was in 10th grade when she found her passion for music in beginning band class. She joined the Purple Pride Marching band her 11th grade and continued in 12thgrade. Ms. Rouse pursued higher education where she applied and got accepted into Fort Valley State University. During her college years, she marched for Blue Machine Marching Band all 4 years, granted 2 years as Woodwind Section Leader. In spring 2019, she earned her degree in Visual & Performing arts, concentration in Vocal & Instrumental Performance. Today she serves as the band director of W.S. Hornsby Middle School.
