My name is Shayla Brown and I am an Augusta, Ga native. I graduated from Georgia Southern University with a BS in Elementary Education and I am now pursuing my masters degree. I am the mother of two handsome boys. I have been teaching in the Richmond County School System for 6 years at Copeland Elementary . I have taught Pre-K, first grade, and 2nd grade. This school year will be my first year teaching 3rd grade. I love working with children and watching them grow as they embark on new skills. I wasn't born to "just teach", I was born to inspire others, change people, and to never give up; even when faced with challenges that seem impossible.
