Ms. Inez Mitchell
Mrs. Inez Mitchell is a proud product of the Richmond County School System and a graduate of Butler High School. She began her academic journey at Hampton University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She later pursued her passion for education by obtaining a Master of Arts in Teaching from Augusta State University. Her commitment to lifelong learning led her to complete an Education Specialist degree in Higher Education and Adult Learning from Walden University, and she is currently pursuing her doctoral degree.
With 19 years of experience in education, Mrs. Mitchell has served students and families across several Richmond County schools, including Tobacco Road Elementary, Bayvale Elementary, Richmond Hill K-8, and Sue Reynolds Elementary. Most recently, she served as the Instructional Specialist at Sue Reynolds before being appointed Assistant Principal at Copeland Elementary School.
Mrs. Mitchell is married and the proud mother of four children, all of whom attend Richmond County schools. With a heart for children and a vision for excellence, she is dedicated to empowering teachers and supporting student success by helping every learner reach their full potential every day.
