Good evening, CT Walker families and happy Grandparents Day! In honor of that, we will be inviting our grandparents or "grand VIPs" to come on every Friday of this month (beginning this Friday) to do read alouds for K-2 classes and interviews/presentations to classes in grades 3-5. The times will be 9:00-10:00 for kindergarten – 2nd and 10:00-11:00 for 3rd – 5th. A flyer with more details and a QR code for reserving times will be on our website tomorrow and will go home on Tuesday.    

Primetime in the morning will be dropping off in the back of the school (where pick up is) from now on. If your child is in Primetime, please be sure to pull all the way forward to allow day care vans and buses to get in. Remember that Primetime ends at 7:45 in the morning and begins at 3:45 in the afternoon.  

In the afternoons, please ensure that you are in a vehicle to pick up your child from carline. Walk ups to the carline is not permitted. Both lanes are open for pick up and all cars must turn right to exit the car line.  For morning carline, students are not to be dropped off prior to 8 AM unless you are staying with them on the benches. No parking or drop-offs are allowed on either of the streets adjacent to the school.    

Finally, please remember that students cannot be picked up after 2:45 PM as that interferes with dismissal. Please schedule appointments accordingly if possible. If you do pick up your child, it will only be excused for doctor or dentist appointments unless the nurse recommends that they go home. Otherwise, an unexcused tardy will be given
