• Good evening CTW Family! I hope you all had a restful and relaxing weekend. We had a wonderful visit with former Atlanta Falcon and Brave, Brian Jordan. Our 1st and 2nd graders are participating in the Brian Jordan Reading Challenge and we know they will lead the charge for the district! This Wednesday, we will have our PBIS kickoff party. Students will have fun activities, a DJ, and concessions available. Any cash for concessions should be in Ziplock bags and students will be responsible for it.

Our fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society ends on Wednesday with a superhero day for 1st -5th grade. Students can wear, in dress code, superhero costumes or superhero disguises (hats and sunglasses) for $1 to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. We have raised $1,738 for far with only $261 to go until we meet our goal! The shirt sale is still running until October 4th. Note that these shirts will not arrive in time for the Light the Night event on October 5th at Evans Towne Center. A reminder flyer for the event will go home on Wednesday. The link for shirts can be found on the Walker website in the Wildcat Weekly. LLS Shirt Link. Please donate through your child's grade level link and put their name in the comments.

Parents, please remember that full day attendance is required. Please limit early dismissals as they reduce valuable instructional time and disrupt the learning process. Dismissals not from the nurse or for appointments will result in unexcused tardies.

In the morning, please remember that drop-offs outside of the carline are not permitted.  Please remember that students not in Primetime must not be dropped off prior to 8:00. In the afternoon, Primetime will be receiving parents in the back from dismissal to close. Drop off will still be in the front. Remember that Primetime does not release students until after 3:45. Prior to 3:45, the back is for daycare vans and buses only.
