Dear Parents,

Greetings and welcome back to school for the 2024-2025 school year. My name is Mrs.  Boyd and I will serve as your child's 5th grade Mathematics and Science Teacher. This school year will be full of learning and growing! I believe all students can learn in a safe, positive, and supportive environment.  Every year is an adventure I truly enjoy, and I will do my very best to help your child succeed!

I hope you all had a fantastic summer and are feeling refreshed and ready for the new school year. As we prepare to embark on this exciting journey together, I want to extend a heartfelt welcome back to each of you!

This year promises to be filled with new opportunities for learning, growth, and fun. We will explore new topics, tackle interesting projects, and work together to achieve our goals. I am excited to get to know each of you better and to see the incredible things we will accomplish as a team.

Remember, this classroom is a place where curiosity is encouraged, questions are welcomed, and everyone’s ideas are valued. Let’s approach this year with an open mind, a positive attitude, and a willingness to support one another.

This year, we will use Class Dojo as the primary communication tool. You can set up your Class Dojo account to access all classroom documents and learning activities, as well as communicate with your child's teachers.
