Mr. Emile Sharif

Greetings! I am thrilled and honored to serve as the principal of the prestigious C.T. Walker Magnet School. I taught Math and Psychology for nine years before stepping into the role of leadership, for which I have served for the past eight years. I strive every day to grow and make a positive impact on the members of my community. I am thankful for my wonderful family of 5 and the support of such an amazing faculty, staff, and parental group. I firmly believe in maximizing student achievement and growth through engagement, rigor, and innovation, and I am confident that C.T. Walker embodies the ideal learning environment that fosters academic, social, and emotional growth and development. Go Wildcats!!!

Mrs. Nakia Johnson

It is a great honor to be here at C.T. Walker Magnet.  I am ELATED to be a part of the Walker family.  At Walker, we are excited about the growth and success of our students.  I look forward to serving all stakeholders as we contribute to the success of our children. Originally from New Jersey, I began my teaching career in 1996 in Augusta, GA.  I have worked in Richmond County Schools, Columbia County Schools, and Clayton County Schools.  I am certified in Early Childhood Education PK-5 and English (B.S), Counseling & Psychology (M.Ed.), Educational Administration PK-12 (EdS.), and School Guidance Counseling PK-12 (M.Ed.).  I have facilitated, redelivered, and developed professional learning for various groups of educational professionals. Served as RTI chair and coordinated many committees, mentored pre-service, veteran, and newly inducted teachers, hosted book clubs, and established mentoring programs for our students.

I live in the Augusta area with my daughter (15) and 2 fur-babies, Yorkie, Baylee and Miniature Poodle, Ziggy.  I have a 30-year-old daughter doing well in Atlanta, GA. I look forward to working hard for teachers, staff, students, and parents.  I am here to assist in any way that I possibly can. Feel free to contact me.

HAVE A FANTASTIC YEAR!
