I grew up in the Martinez area of Georgia and currently reside there with my husband Travis and son Landon. I graduated college in 2008 from Brenau University with a B.S. in Education and earned my Masters  in Library and Information Science from Drexel University in 2013. I am currently in my 15th year as an educator and my 13th year as a Media Specialist. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, music, and decorating.  

I love my job! I have a passion for reading, technology, and research. I enjoy having the opportunity to share that love with my students. I serve students kindergarten through fifth grade. 

I focus on preparing my students to be lifelong users of ideas and information through using technology, research, and teaching them how to be successful 21st century learners. I also work collaboratively with teachers to support their curriculum, research units, and infuse technology in the classroom.
