About Me

I was born in Maine but raised here in Augusta, GA. I graduated from A.R. Johnson in 2004 and went on to attend Augusta State University. I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in 2013 and my Master’s Degree in 2017. I taught Pre-K for 2 years at Diamond Lakes Elementary and then I was given the opportunity to join the McBean family as a kindergarten teacher. The following year I taught writing to kindergarten through fifth grade and now I call third grade home. I am actively involved with PTO and you can catch me at various school functions. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, cooking, and spending time with my family and friends.
