Hello and welcome to 4th grade! I am Mrs. De La Rosa and I will be the English Language Arts and Social Studies face-to-face teacher for the 2020-2021 school year!

I have lived in the CSRA for 13 years, and I received my teaching degree from Augusta University in 2012. This is my 5th year teaching in Richmond County, and I am passionate about education and equipping students with skills for success in my classroom and BEYOND.

I live in Aiken with my husband Pete, our 2 year old daughter Avery, and our dog Bear. In my spare time, I enjoy singing, camping, cooking, and yoga (and before Covid, going out to eat sushi! 🍣😏).

I love reading and history, and I hope to instill that same passion in my students through fun and enriching activities. Despite uncertainties with COVID-19, the 2020-2021 school year will be a successful one. We're all in this together! This year brings new and exciting opportunities for students to learn and grow, and I look forward to it being a wonderful school year!
