I’m excited to welcome you and your child to 8th Grade Georgia History! Teaching is more than a job—it’s my passion. I’m committed to creating a learning environment that is inclusive, engaging, and student-centered, where every student feels safe, seen, and supported.

My teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that all students can succeed when given the right tools, support, and encouragement. I aim to make history come alive through hands-on activities, collaborative projects, thoughtful discussions, and technology integration. I emphasize critical thinking, historical analysis, and real-world connections to help students become active, informed citizens.

Building strong relationships is at the heart of my classroom. I believe students thrive when they know their teacher believes in them—and when families and educators work as a team. Communication is key, so please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns throughout the year.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy traveling, reading, cooking, and spending time with loved ones—experiences I often bring into the classroom to enrich our discussions.
