School Supply List 2018-2019 School Year
5 Composition Notebooks (ELA, Writing, Science, Social Studies, and Math) Spiral bound are OK, but they do not last as long
2-3 sharpened pencils per day (students should try to sharpen pencils at home to cut down on wasted class time)
1 3-ring binder that will be used for all subjects
Dividers with folders (to be placed in binder)
1 pack of index cards
1-2 highlighters
1 pack of skinny markers
1 pack of colored pencils
Glue stick
Loose-leaf paper (to be kept in binder)
6 3-prong folders with pockets
Fabric pencil pouch (the plastic cases break easily and create a disturbance when dropped)
1 pair of student scissors
Personal pencil sharpeners, mechanical pencils, hard pencils cases, fidget spinners, and additional school supplies should be kept at home. Students should bring only what they need to complete their work. Extra glue sticks, pencils, erasers, crayons, etc. can also be kept at home and replenished as your child needs them. All school supplies should be labeled with your child's name in small print. We will attach a larger label to notebooks and folders. Composition notebooks will be collected, properly labeled with subject name, and kept in the classroom. The 3-ring binder will be used as a home-school communication and homework folder. The 3-ring binder should be organized by subject and contain loose-leaf paper. One 3-prong folder will be used for signed papers. The other 5 folders will be used for classwork and kept at school.
Optional (will used as a class):
Kleenex
Hand sanitizer
Dry-erase markers
Paper towels
Wet wipes
Crayons
Glue sticks
