Welcome!

 

It is such a joy and excitement to have your child in my class!  I will be teaching Mathematics.  With your encouragement, your child will be a part of many exciting and rewarding experiences this academic year. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

  

This year the fifth grade team will be sending home graded papers at the teacher's discretion.  Students will be given papers to take home, get signed (if the grade of the assignment is a C or lower), and return to school. 

 

The fifth grade team is also using Classdojo.com to in order to manage behaviors. This program will allow us to better communicate your child's social and academic progress in the classroom. After students have been entered into the program, I will send home your parent code. You will then be able to access your students' dojo account and be able to receive current information on his or her behavior. 

 

If you would like to meet with me concerning grades or any other matters please send a note with your child, message me on dojo, or call the school office at 706-733-7255 to schedule an appointment.
