Hello Everyone!

My name is Javen McCaster, and I am your S.T.E.M (Science-Technology-Engineering-Math) Teacher for the 2024/2025 school year. This is my 7th year of teaching at Bayvale Elementary. I have a Bachelor's in Business and a Masters in Early Childhood Educational Leadership. I am a certified Special Education Teacher with an endorsement in STEM education.

I am elated that I am going to introduce students to something they’ve never experienced before. Your child will have excitement in their eyes when they find the perfect solution to a project or experiment they’ve been working on. I will encourage them to use logic and critical thinking to solve problems in an ever-changing world. Teaching STEM is awesome because it gets kids involved in learning, and it teaches them lifelong skills that they can use to solve problems and tackle challenges throughout their lives.
