Welcome to Mathematics: 7th Grade

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! I am overly excited about serving as a Seventh Grade Math Educator. I am even more eager to be part of the John M. Tutt Dragon Family. It is my goal to meet and reach each of my students individually right where they are.Teaching, teaching, teaching! Words cannot express how passionate I am to be part of such a prestigious profession. It is the work of great teachers that has afforded me the opportunity to serve.  Children are highly favored in my eyesight, and are well deserving of a quality education.
 
As the conductor of this year's train, I am asking you to partner with me as we embark on a venture into a new and exciting school year. Why board the train where Ms. Jenkins is the conductor? Simple, those who board will be taking a fantastic voyage to Success Avenue, but unfortunately we can't do it without you!  It is indeed a pleasure to partner with you and all stakeholders to assure that every passenger aboard Ms. Jenkins' train will arrive at the next level. Together, the students and I will respectfully learn and challenge each other.

Please know my classroom is an open book. Connect with us as we ride the train to the next level to Success Avenue where the learning zone is safe and conducive to learning and failure is not an option. I strongly believe that "It takes a village to raise a child(ren)." Therefore, I invite you all to partake in this wonderful experience of educating our children and preparing them to become lifelong learners and productive citizens in an innovative society.
