I am SO excited about being your scholar's kindergarten teacher for 2025-2026. It’s going to be a fun year full of learning and new adventures, and I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us! I want to know ALL about you, but first, here are a few things about me! 

My name is Cassandra Heggs. This year I will begin my 9th year as an educator at Barton Chapel Elementary. I have attained a B.B.A in Management from Savannah State University, B.S.ED and M.Ed from Brenau University in Elementary Education. I received my ESOL endorsement in 2023, and I received my Intervention Specialist endorsement this year. I am an enthusiastic educator with a passionate commitment to addressing the needs of all students.
