Hello everyone and welcome to our class website. I am so excited about this new year at Tutt Middle School, and even more excited to be teaching seventh grade math! I know that we are going to have a great year together filled with lots of learning, loads of fun, and tons of wonderful memories.

My name is Mrs. Drinkard and I am a graduate of Valdosta State University. I am currently attending Augusta University in pursuit of a Master's degree in Teaching.  I began teaching at Langford Middle School. 

I believe that being a teacher is a great honor, and I am honored to be the one who has been given the opportunity to instill in your child a love of learning. My promise to you is that I will treat each of them as if they were my own, and that each day when you hand them over to me, they will be safe and cared for.

My mission is to create a safe, supportive environment in our classroom that promotes academic excellence. My students are encouraged to meet their maximum potential, and I will do anything I possibly can to help them accomplish this task. They will not only be taught content and curriculum, but also how to be good citizens. They will learn fairness, respect, helpfulness, responsibility, kindness, and consideration through being part of the community that is our classroom.

This will for sure be a remarkable year for all of us! I cannot put into words how excited I am, and how honored I feel to be your child's teacher. I am looking forward to meeting all of you and working as a team to make this school year a successful one.
