• FINAL GRADES WILL BE PASS OR FAIL (P/F)- BUT HOW WERE THEY CALCULATED?

In an effort to accommodate the challenge of homeschooling your children, every class had 5 weekly assignments, with 1 additional week to catch up on unfinished work. (Not including spring break)

Assignments were graded on completion.  If the student completed the assignment and turned it in, they receive a 100.  If the assignment was not completed and turned in, it's not a Zero, it is just no grade input in the system.

All Grades are averaged under CLASS PARTICIPATION making them equal weighted.

Students missing 2 or more assignments will have their 1st,2nd, and 3rd 9-weeks grade averaged together and placed as an additional assignment grade.

    EXAMPLE 1: Student completes 2 assignments = 100points+100points=200

    Average of this student's 1st,2nd,and 3rd 9-weeks= 75

    200+75=275         275/3=91.6     Student would receive a 92 for 4th 9-weeks.

EXAMPLE 2:  Student completed NO Work 4th 9-Weeks

This student will simply receive His/Her average of 1st,2nd,and 3rd 9-weeks as the final grade for 4th 9-weeks.

Example 3:  Student completes 4 out of 5 OR 5 out of 5 assignments

    Student will receive a 100 for 4th-9weeks.

70 or above will be considered Passing

69 or below will be considered Failing
