Dear Hephzibah, Middle School Families,

Welcome to the 2023- 2024 school year! We are thrilled to welcome our students and staff back to school. I am especially happy to return to the Hephzibah community. I hope that you had a relaxing Summer. Now it is time to look forward to a wonderful new school year.

Our incredible staff of educators have been in school throughout the summer to prepare classrooms for the new school year. We are grateful to our amazing custodial staff as they worked all summer getting our school into shape. Our office staff have been working hard to ensure a smooth start for staff, students, and families.

Hephzibah Middle School is such a special place to learn and grow. We strive to make connections with students to help them feel valued, accepted, and safe. We will continue to guide our students by providing a rigorous and joyful inclusive school environment. Our goal is to encourage active student engagement to foster a lifetime love for learning.

Partnering with families is crucial to promote a healthy transition to school both socially and emotionally. We recognize that students may be feeling anxious with the start of a new school year. We will continue to emphasize social emotional learning while focusing on building classroom community.
