Hola! My name is Dialmarys Velez, but feel free to call me Mary, or Mrs. V. 

I was born in Puerto Rico and I have been in Augusta, Georgia since 2017. I am married, and have two beautiful children. I have been a teacher privately since I was a teenager, teaching music, and tutoring college students for college Spanish classes. I started my career as a high school teacher in school year 2022-2023. I love what I do. I find that teaching is the most basic skill and job we are born with because we are taught since birth how to walk, talk, and do all things.

I am going to teach students Spanish language, greetings, farewells, culture, pronunciation, and all things Spanish speaking countries. I mainly teach from a self-learning perspective, guiding and motivating students to do research, asking relevant question, and show results through summative and formative assessments. 

My goal is that you are acquainted with the Hispanic community, that students master accademic requirements and are prepared for the college experience.
