  • Dr. Ginger Dunker

    National Board Certified ELA/EYA, NWP Teacher Consultant, Clemson University, BA; Furman UNiversity, MA; LIberty University, Ed. D. 

    I currently teach AP Language & Composition and American Literature at Hephzibah High School.  I love what I do, and I see myself as a lifelong learner.  I have served as the Past-president of South Carolina Council of Teachers of English and Chairman of the Aiken County Council of Teachers of English. I have been teaching for 43 years: 8 years in Pickens County, 2 years in Charleston County, 28 years in Aiken County, and 5 years in Richmond County. I also taught for a year at Tri County Technical College near Clemson University. I served as Co-Director of the Aiken Writing Project at USC-Aiken for five terms, and I am a teacher consultant for the National Writing Project  I received my BA from Clemson University, my MA from Furman University, and my doctorate in curriculum and instruction at Liberty University.   I love to write poetry, fiction, and memoir.  I am passionate about writing and literacy.
