Dr. Ginger Dunker
I currently teach AP Language & Composition, AP Literature & Composition, and Dramatic Writing. I love what I do, and I see myself as a lifelong learner. I currently serve as Director of Awards and Public Relations for the South Carolina Council of Teachers of English (SCCTE_ and the Past-president of SCCTE. I also served as the Chairman of the Aiken County Council of Teachers of English. I have been teaching for 41 years: 8 years in Pickens County, 2 years in Charleston County, 28 years in Aiken County, and 4 years in Richmond County. I also taught for a year at Tri County Technical College near Clemson University, and I served as Co-Director of the Aiken Writing Project at USC-Aiken for five terms. I received my BA from Clemson University, my MA from Furman University, and my doctorate in curriculum and instruction at Liberty University. I love to write poetry, fiction, and memoir. I am passionate about writing and literacy.
