Dr. Ginger Dunker

I currently teach AP Language and Composition and British Literature Honors and GT.  I love what I do, and I see myself as a lifelong learner.  I currently serve as Director of Awards and Public Relations for SCCTE and the Past-president of the South Carolina Council of Teachers of English (SCCTE). I also served as the Chairman of the Aiken County Council of Teachers of English. I have been teaching for 39 years: 8 years in Pickens County, 2 years in Charleston County, 28 years in Aiken County., and 1 year in Richmond County. Thus, this will be my 40th year in education! I also taught for a year at Tri County Technical College near Clemson University, and I served as Co-Director of the Aiken Writing Project at USC-Aiken for five terms.  I received my BA from Clemson University, my MA from Furman University, and my doctorate in curriculum and instruction at Liberty University.   I love to write poetry, fiction, and memoir.  I am passionate about writing and literacy.
