Through our STEM curriculum, A. Dorothy Hains Elementary is committed to fostering a dynamic learning environment that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. We design our STEM program to encourage students to explore the interwoven fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, preparing them for future challenges and possibilities. 

Science: Our science curriculum focuses on developing students' scientific inquiry skills and understanding of core scientific concepts, including life sciences, physical sciences, and earth and space sciences.

Technology: We integrate technology into all aspects of our curriculum, teaching students how to use digital tools, coding languages, and multimedia resources effectively.

Engineering: We weave engineering design principles throughout our curriculum, challenging students to identify problems, design solutions, and test prototypes.

Mathematics: Our mathematics curriculum emphasizes problem-solving, mathematical reasoning, and computational thinking skills, preparing students for success in both STEM and non-STEM fields.
