Welcome new 7th grade students and parents to the 2024–25 school year!!! Let me start by saying that I am beyond excited about the endless possibilities for this class.

I am very honored to have you all in my Social Studies class, where we will explore Africa, Southwest Asia (Middle East), and Southern and Eastern Asia. This is my third year in education and my second year at Hephzibah Middle School teaching 7th grade. I am a graduate of Troy State University with a Master of Education Degree in Counseling and Psychology. I am also a graduate of Lucy Craft Laney High School. My favorite color is Red, and I love music.

I STILL love learning, and I always learn so much from my students. I am very accessible to my students and their parents via email and telephone.  Emails are answered within 24 hours and phone calls within 48 hours. My classroom location in the building is Room 610. 

I am happy to serve as your teacher for this semester and look forward to having a great time with you and your classmates.
