Discipline Consequences
1st Offense -Verbal Warning
2nd Offense - Parent Contact
3rd Offense - Parent Contact and Moved to another room for the period.
4th Offense - Referral to the office.
Immediate referral to the office may occur if the situation/behavior is severe or blatant.
Example: Cutting class, Cursing the teacher, threatening.
SEVERE violations equal instant referrals.

18 Weeks Grades: Weighted
Major Work- 40%
Minor Work- 60%
How are the semester grades calculated?
Major/minor average = 90%
Exam/EOC average = 10%
Exams: To exempt the exam, you must have a average of 90.
EOCs: Spring; you can not exempt them.
EOC proficient is 82 -93
EOC distinguished is 94-100

EXTRA CREDIT
There is no Extra Credit. Don't Ask.
Do the original work, keep an organized notebook, study, attend tutoring, retest.

LATE WORK
No work will be accepted past 5 days late.
You lose 5% per day late.
GRADE RECOVERY
This is not make-up work you didn't turn in.
This is redoing the entire semester of new work.
It is redoing the entire semester under a teacher contract.
This is only offered at the end of the semester with specific criteria.
