Hello! My name is Kesha Chivers. I'm the Instructional Specialist/Parent Facilitator at Warren Road Elementary School. This is my 24th year in education. I graduated from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia in the fall of 1999. I started teaching 3rd grade in Burke County in Waynesboro, Georgia at Blakeney Elementary School. After teaching there for 6 years, I decided to move to Richmond County. I taught 1st grade, 2nd grade, and writing/STEM in grades K-5th for 13 years at Diamond Lakes Elementary School. After 13 years, I decided to venture out and teach Computer Science to K-5th graders in the CTAE department. I served at 4 schools; Warren Road, A.Brian Merry, Garrett, and Lamar-Milledge. After 1 year of teaching computer science, I became the Instructional Specialist at Warren Road Elementary School. This is my 5th year in this role. I also serve as the Parent Facilitator.
I am a native of North Augusta, South Carolina. I live in Hephzibah, Georgia. I have been married to my husband, Byron, for 20 years. I have 2 children; Aydin, 17, and Addilyn, 11. I have 4 dogs. Luna is a Yorkshire Terrier and Diesel, Diamond and Deuce are Pitbulls. I enjoy spending time with my family, shopping, watching movies, and laughing at TikTok. I look forward to working with the teachers, students, and parents at Warren Road Elementary School this school year.
