Welcome

  • WRE Families,
Thank you for visiting my webpage! As the new school year begins, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Mrs. Peek and I teach 3rd - 5th Grade EIP Math. What is EIP? EIP stands for the Early Intervention Program. EIP is a state funded program designed to serve students in grades K-5 who are at risk of not reaching or maintaining academic grade level in Reading and/or Math. The purpose of EIP is to provide additional instructional resources to help students who are performing below grade level obtain the necessary academic skills to reach grade level standards. It is our hope that students can make the necessary gains and exit the program as quickly as skills are improved.
As an educator, I use a variety of strategies to help meet the needs of my students wherever gaps in their learning exist. My main aim is to provide your child with the best instructional support possible to help them meet or exceed their grade level goals. Through hard work and collaboration, exiting EIP is a possibility.
I invite you to be an active part of your child’s education. Please join us in supporting our children. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have this school year. You may give me a call at 706-868-4022 or get in touch with me by email: peeker@boe.richmond.k12.ga.us. I look forward to working with your child and the opportunity of getting to know you. Together we can make this school year a positive influence in your child’s life! Hope to see you soon!
