Welcome to 3rd Grade! As the new school year begins, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Mrs. Peek and I will be your child’s Mathematics and Social Studies teacher this school year. I will be team-teaching with Ms. Baker. We look forward to working with your child and the opportunity of getting to know you. Together we can make this school year a positive influence in your child’s life!
A well-disciplined environment will help to ensure a successful year. Please review the school rules with your child, as we will also be going over them in class.
The school day begins at 8:15 a.m. and ends at 3:15 p.m. Breakfast will be at 7:45 a.m. each morning in the school cafeteria. Please make an extra effort to see that your child gets plenty of rest, eats a good breakfast at home or school, and arrives on time. Research shows that this can have a positive effect on academic success, which is exactly what we want for our students!
I invite you to be an active part of your child’s education. You can do this by volunteering your time and talents as a school volunteer. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have this year. You may send a note, give me a call at 706-868-4022, or get in touch with me by email. My address is email@example.com. Also, be sure to checkout this Warren Road website https://www.rcboe.org/warren often for current information in regards to our 3rd grade classes and schoolwide events. With your support, we can make this a productive and successful year for all of us. Hope to see you soon! Mrs. E. Peek
