Welcome to Second Grade   

Welcome!  My name is Vicki Barrett.  As the new school year begins, I am very excited to have your children in my class!  I have been teaching in Richmond County for 18 years and this is my 8th year at Warren Road Elementary.  

Our day begins at 8:20 and ends at 3:05 with breakfast served from 7:50-8:10.  We have lunch from 11:40-12:10.  Please join us for lunch when your schedule permits.  We will work hard in the classroom and I encourage you to be an active participant in your child's education by completing homework and reading with your child daily.

I believe a well-disciplined environment will ensure a successful year.  Please review classroom rules with your child and discuss appropriate behavior, as we will go over them in the classroom.
