Students are expected to do their best in the gifted classroom. Students are expected to be willing to take risks and try new methods in a safe, nonjudgemental environment. The policy of the gifted classroom is that every student has the right to learn and no student has the right to hinder with that learning. If a student's behavior is such that the behavior is either hindering that student's or another student's learning a parent conference will be requested. The gifted curriculum is chanllenging but also opens up the student to many possiblities, talents, and abilities that may not have been explored. Students are expected to participate, be a team player, and most of all have fun while learning!
