🎉 Hi there! I’m LaTreal Strickland — a passionate 💖 middle school educator specializing in Individuals & Societies 🌍. I currently teach 6th-grade Social Studies 🏫, and I absolutely love creating a classroom environment where curiosity is encouraged 🧐, learning feels exciting 📚✨, and every student feels seen and valued 🌟.

My goal is to help each learner discover their unique strengths 💪 and build the confidence 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️ to use them!

📣 Teaching has been my calling for as long as I can remember 🕰️. I began my career as a 3rd-grade teacher 🍎, but I was drawn to middle school because it’s one of the most important and transformative times in a young person’s life 🌱➡️🌳.

Before becoming a full-time educator, I worked in the business sector 💼 in training and development, where I learned how to motivate, coach, and connect with people 🤝 — a skill set that translates beautifully into the classroom 🎓.

As a former cheer coach 📣, I’ve always had a knack for inspiring students to push beyond their comfort zones 🚀 and reach their full potential 🌠.

🎓 I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and an MBA with a concentration in Training and Development 🎓📘. Outside of school hours, I’ve spent years tutoring students from kindergarten through adulthood 👶👩‍🎓, with a strong focus on elementary and middle school learners 🧠📖.
