🏙️ Junior Achievement of Georgia: JA BizTown Experience

This year, students will participate in JA BizTown, a program provided by Junior Achievement of Georgia. JA BizTown is a hands-on learning experience that blends classroom instruction with a simulated town visit, where students take on real-world roles in business, government, and finance.

    What We’ll Learn:

    • 💼 How businesses operate and make decisions
    • 🏦 How to manage personal finances, including banking and budgeting
    • 🗳️ Civic responsibilities like voting and paying taxes
    • 🤝 Workplace skills such as teamwork, communication, and leadership
    • 📈 The flow of money in an economy and how citizens contribute to it

    Simulation Day:

Students will work in assigned roles, such as business owners, employees, and consumers. They’ll earn paychecks, manage budgets, run storefronts, and make decisions that affect their business and community. This experience helps students connect classroom learning to real-life applications and prepares them for future success.
