Welcome to a year of learning and making music!

General music classes at A. Dorothy Hains Elementary School are prepared to involve students in a variety of musical educational opportunities. My goal is that students will develop a life-long love of different genres of music by having an awesome start.

Students from K through 5th Grade sing, listen, and move to music.

Following Georgia Music Standards and Common Core Curricular guides, students will explore the elements of music through singing, reading music, writing music, and playing.

Music Classroom expectations will be discussed and applied.

Students good behavior is shown at all times.

Bottom line: We learn music while having lots of fun!
