Greeting and Welcome!!!

My name is McConstant Brigham, and I am thrilled to be your child's Business Computer Science and AVID teacher this year. With a passion for technology and education, I am committed to fostering a supportive and dynamic learning environment where every student can thrive.                                                                                                                                      

I begin my teaching career in 2018. As my second career, my first career was in Management, where I worked for the Augusta Richmond County Government for 24 years. I love working with people and, most of all, children. I have a B.S in Business and Science with a Concentration in Management and a Master's in Management.

As a CTAE (Technical and Agricultural Education) teacher in the 21st century, students need to understand, communicate, and adapt to a digital world as it impacts their personal life, society, and the business world. Students will gain knowledge of computer applications, network systems, internet safety, employability skills, and business and computer science careers of the 21st century. Employability skills are integrated into activities and projects throughout the course to demonstrate the skills required by business and industry. 

As an AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is a national program designed to support and assist selected students with a college preparatory curriculum that emphasizes analytical writing, note-taking, organization, and research.

The mission is to close the achievement gap by preparing all students for college readiness and success in a global society.
